Whezit fits into how you already use your phone.
You're in any app — browser, social, messages, podcasts — and you find something worth keeping.
Use the Share button you already use to send a photo or link to a friend. Pick Whezit. Done — it's saved to your phone.
Open Whezit, search by title, date, tag, or the app it came from. Find it in seconds, weeks later.
Powerful where it counts. Simple everywhere else.
If it has a Share button, Whezit can save it — links, text, images, videos, and more.
Add tags, create collections, and keep everything tidy without thinking about it.
Find anything instantly. Full-text search across all your saved content.
Your saved links live on your device. Browse, search, and organize your library without an account or cloud sync.
One tap saves your whole library to iCloud Drive or Google Drive. Your storage, your rules.
Follows your system preference. Looks great day and night.
I kept losing things I found on my phone. A recipe on Instagram, a podcast someone mentioned, an article I wanted to read later — gone, buried in browser tabs or forgotten in a sea of screenshots. Every "save for later" tool I tried was designed for desktops or wanted me to create yet another account.
So I built Whezit: a dead-simple way to save anything from any app using the share button you already use. No cloud, no account, no setup. Just tap share, pick Whezit, and it's saved. I built it for myself first, and now I'm sharing it with anyone who's tired of losing the things they meant to keep.
It's a play on "where is it?" — the question you ask every time you can't find something you know you saved. That's exactly the problem Whezit solves.
Your saved links are stored locally on your device, so you can browse, search, and organize your library anytime. You'll need an internet connection to open the actual links, since Whezit stores references rather than full page content.
Everything is stored locally on your device using SQLite. Nothing is sent to external servers. No telemetry, no analytics, no cloud sync in this version of the app.
No account, no sign-up, no email required. Open the app and start saving immediately.
Yes. Whezit is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It's built with React Native and Expo for a consistent experience on both platforms.
Yes. One tap in Settings saves a full backup to iCloud Drive (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) via the system share sheet — no extra accounts needed. You can also export as JSON, CSV, or a ZIP of your images.
Anything with a share button — links, articles, social media posts, podcast episodes, text snippets, images, and more. If you can share it, Whezit can save it.
